The branding. Alton Road is the street where I grew up in St. Matthews, Louisville, KY. Strasse is German for Road. The yellow can represents the blonde in American Blonde Ale. If you look closely at the can, there is a white silhouette of the house at 3913 Alton Road, my childhood home. Behind the name Alton Strasse on the label is a red fleur-de-lis, symbolizing Louisville. And the "story" on the back of the can completes the brand.
